Happy Birthday To ME!!

First off, my birthday is actually on Saturday, but I will be getting on the boat for my CRUISE that day, so I thought I would post this early.

Secondly, I have to tell you about my WONDERFUL little class (and of course their parents). I got to school today to some wonderful surprises. I had some students bring me some birthday presents, including lotions, perfume (yummy kind from Vicky Secrets), and a visa gift card. Then later that day some more mothers stopped by to bring me a bag of cards from my first graders from last year and this year and a gift card to Aeropostal (one of my favorite stores). How sweet are they. That totally made my day. Can I say that I have the best job in the world, and I teach at the best school ever with an amazing community!

And finally, I thought this would be fun to share:

20 years ago:

I was 7!
1. in first grade
2. living in Kearns
3. loved hanging out with Sara Borg
4. could climb a fence faster than anyone
5. loved jumping on the tramp
6. loved kittens


10 years ago i was:

17 years old!
1. a junior at West Jordan High
2. tardy every day to History
3. my best friends were Jenn and Melissa
4. drove to school in a beat up old Jeep (best vehicle I ever had!)
5. worked at Frenze
6. got really close to my little bro


5 years ago I was:

22 Years old!
1. married for almost a year
2. living in a budget apartment on North Temple
3. still doing everything with Jenn
4. working at Meier and Frank in Fragrances
5. going to the U full time to be a teacher
6. loved walking around the U of U campus


2 years ago I was:

25 years old
1. teaching for the very first time
2. living in a cute condo in Magna
3. living next to my brother and his wife
4. was a Hershy's Kiss for Halloween
5. loved having my parents back in Utah
6. dying my hair for the first time


1 year ago I was:

26 years old!
1. forgot my 5 year anniversary (so did Russ, so it's all good)
2. pregnant with Beckham
3. found out Jenn was pregnant too!!!
4. running triathlons
5. teaching 27 first graders
6. in the hospital twice with complications of pregnancy


so far this year I have:

1. had a BABY!
2. played all summer with Beckham
3. loved being a teacher
4. worked on finishing my Master's Degree
5. moved in with my parents so we could buy a house
6. started a scrapbook night with great friends

yesterday i:

1. kissed Beckham
2. went to faculty meeting
3. taught the best first graders ever!
4. helped Beckham practice crawling
5. rocked a crying baby to sleep (teething sucks!)
6. thanked Heavenly father for everything I have

today i:

1. took doughnuts to school for my birthday treat
2. got sung happy birthday to by my cute class
3. finished 4 days worth of sub plans
4. went shopping for the cruise
5. finally started getting Beckhams things ready to go
6. blogged

tomorrow i:

1. will finally renew my license (that expired last year)
2. will go to an awesome cycle class
3. shop some more for the cruise
4. pack for the cruise
5. help Beckham crawl (he's gotta do it before I leave!!)
6. KISS AND HUG MY BABY (I am going to miss him so much)

in the next year i:

1. will be in our new house (it is cute and perfect!)
2. want to have my Master's Degree
3. plan on running more (that is my worst part on my Tri's)
4. watch Beckham get bigger and bigger
5. enjoy being a wife, mom, teacher, daughter, and friend
6. hope to continue making a difference in children's lives
